My wife and I contracted Allan and AHP in September 2013 to build a second floor extension on our 90 year old Californian Bungalow. This also involved the complete gutting of the existing house downstairs and a new kitchen and laundry, with three new bedrooms, a bathroom and living room upstairs. The house was also restumped and levelled with new floorboards throughout. It was a sizable extension. This was our first experience with contracting a builder and we were very happy with both the result and with Allan’s professionalism. The build took approximately 9 months and was finished within one week of the budgeted plan. My wife and I were very happy to be moving in on time and the finished quality was excellent. Allan was a great help throughout and assisted with our role of choosing fittings and finishes. Allan never minded us coming to poke our noses into the house during the construction phase and was great to have a chat too at any time. I would definitely recommend Allan and his company and will use Allan again for any future builds.
